Indaeo ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Indaeo platform, accessible at indaeo.com and app.indaeo.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

Information we collect

Account information

When you sign up for Indaeo, we collect your name, email address, company name, and billing information. This information is used to create and manage your account, process payments, and communicate with you about the service.

Brand and prompt data

To provide the service, you submit brand names, websites, and tracking prompts. This data is stored in association with your account and used to generate monitoring reports. We do not share your tracked brands or prompt configurations with other customers.

AI response data

Indaeo queries AI models (currently ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity) using the prompts you configure and stores the responses for analysis and reporting. These responses are generated by third-party AI providers (see "Third-party services" below) and are associated with your account.

Usage data

We collect standard web analytics data — pages visited, features used, session duration — to understand how customers use the product and improve it. This data is aggregated and not tied to individual identifiable records.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Indaeo platform
• To generate AI visibility reports for the brands you track
• To process payments and manage billing
• To send product updates and transactional emails (you can opt out of non-essential communications)
• To respond to support requests
• To detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access

Third-party services

Indaeo uses the following third-party services to operate:

• AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity): We use these providers' APIs to query ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity for brand visibility monitoring. Prompts submitted through Indaeo are sent to each provider's API. Each provider's use of this data is governed by their respective API data usage policies.
• Stripe: We use Stripe to process payments. Your full card details are never stored on Indaeo servers — they are handled directly by Stripe.
• Infrastructure providers: We use cloud infrastructure providers (hosting, databases) to operate the platform. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance reasons.

AI response data (the AI model responses we store for your tracked prompts) is retained for the duration of your subscription to support historical trend reporting.

Data security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls limiting which Indaeo employees can access customer data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Access to the personal data we hold about you
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Portability of your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection to certain uses of your data
